How many California Quail can you see?

They might not of all shown up in the picture but there is a lot :-D

Now they're in the back yard seeing what there is to eat there.

I love California Quail.

We don't see them here, but our friends on the Island had them breeding in their (very) large garden

Any advance on 38? We often have a family running around our "lawn" - they'll be nesting at the moment so we're expecting more balls of fluff in summer.

If 2 hens eggs make an omelette, how many quails eggs for a feed?

Many years ago, went to visit mum-in-law

There was an unusual aroma in the house....... and she said to look in the pot on the stove.

There were about 12 quail in the pot.... it looked like a pot full of budgies!

Geez, hardly enough for three people.

I really hoped she was cooking the bad-tempered goose:-D
