Now oi loiks a swig o Southern Comfort now n then, and seeing it on offer in Sainsbury''s for £16 instead of £22, bought one,

Twas in a nice box with what looked loik a whisky glass......not having my reading glasses thought that was it.
getting home I find its a Mason Jar.........for pickling things in?

why ???? was it in with a bottle of Whisky?

All the trendiest bars serve drinks in mason jars now Bob.
Some even serve them up in Jam Jars.

The young adults in my house drink cocktails/mocktails from mason jars and they even like to add one of those wee paper umbrellas.

At least they are cheaper to buy than the last recepticals of choice and they can be washed....
I no longer buy several fresh pineapples on the weekly shop !

At my daughter's house she has drinking glasses shaped like mason jars with a handle. I refuse to use them, saying "I don't drink out of a jar". (I'm cultured like Bob)
