How to lose 3 umbrellas in 2 months.

I had one umbrella for years and years...never broke, very sturdy. Stupidly threw it out because bored of design.

Then I ended up with ones that break every 5 minutes.

Now I am going through a spate of losing them. Good job the last winter coat I bought had a hood. Looks like I need it!

I've lost umbrellas before now, usually left on buses.

But most of the things I 'lose' tend to be not exactly lost but misplaced...somewhere in D's room must be at least 3 pairs of tweezers, and as for screwdrivers.....I know I had a full set but the only one I can ever find is too large to conceal and about 40 years old :-)

I've found that the best way to lose umbrellas is to lend them out.

I've been using the same umbrella for about 15 years.

It blew inside-out about a month ago, and all the wires collapsed :-(

It was a great umbrella, it folded up to about 1/3 of the length, and easily fitted into most of my handbags. I doubt I'll ever find another one.


Not sure about what I keep losing..... because every day I lose a few memory cells. :-(
