That's an essay done. Just imagine you need to do an essay a week/fortnight/month.(delete as appropriate)
AND it's on a subject you know most about :-D

You made Fred's life, after his stroke, productive and worthwhile, basically, by 'bunking' what the 'experts' say -'experts' who have no actual experience of stroke patients, but have read the 'right' books. They can talk the talk, but can't walk the walk.

You can gauge my view of 'experts' by the number of quotation marks I use :-D

What great news Sharron, I do hope you can add to those 1000 words and share Fred's story with even more people, who will enjoy reading it as much as we have.

That's brilliant. May I suggest that, when it's finished, you give a copy to the Stroke Association so that their members know that a stroke need not be the end of an interesting and productive life. :-) :-) :-)

I spent a day going through my old threads the other day and read all of the nagging about writing a book about the Fred saga.

Well, I have done the first thousand words which may well be the last thousand words but I have been inspired to do a bit.

I have done the first thousand of my mediaeval write-up several times so don't expect to ever read either!
