Ooh Merlin, mine never claw out of nastiness well, it's not obvious anyway.
Mister (weighs over a stone, with unretractable claws - amazing ratter) just 'grabs' for attention. He doesn't mean to rake his claws down my back :-(

If I moved one of my cats off a chair I wanted to sit on, their 'revenge' would be to jump on my lap, sit as awkwardly as possible (like with a back foot on a nerve in my leg) and paddle furiously and painfully, all claws out - but insist it's affection, by purring :-| :-|

We have found if we walk away from the Butlers lappy
If we put a placemat over the keyboard

It stops the cats messing his setting up :-D :-D

I've lost count how many times they have turned his screen upside down
or altered something they even turned the screen off once

we thought it was broke :-D :-D

We haven't even got a cat, but there is one that lives up the road who looks in occasionally and is liable to sleep on my computer chair for a couple of hours.

:-D :-D :-D
Mine's not that bad - it's just that, as the heaviest, he weighs over a stone (muscle more than fat), and the weight hurts my hand :-(
He's a bit 'special needs' physically, with a bog ugly face, bent tail and non-retractable claws that he constantly uses to 'grab' attention :-| :-|

but he's very affectionate :-S

My older cat Remy curls up next to my laptop on the desk, then rests his sleepy head on the power button - usually turning me off at some crucial point like when I'm bidding on Ebay, or have almost finished an online jigsaw...

I'm just glad that male cat's 'appendage's aren't obvious :-S

Does one of my cats (the heaviest) insist on sitting on my mouse hand when I'm on the computer?
He's now decided to sleep on my mouse mat :-|
It's taken ages to type this 'cos my mouse doesn't work properly unless it's on the mat, and doesn't work at all on cat :-P
