Always wanted to be banned. It's so improbable, perhaps
it shouldn't be.

LONELY WIDOW, AGED 50.

Mary advertised for a partner,
A bit younger than herself;
Since becoming a widow,
No fun being on the shelf.

He should be the same age group,
Not keep getting in her way;
Mustn't be drawn to violence,
And certainly far from gay.

The lady answered the door-bell -
A poor soul in a wheel-chair;
Sadly he had no arms or legs,
But looked handsome sitting there.

He seemed to be the right age,
And wouldn't get in her way;
With no arms he couldn't beat her,
And swore he wasn't 'that way'.

Mary seemed rather pleased,
Are you good in bed as well?
A beaming smile crossed his face,
"How do you think I rang the bell?"

If it offends you, I'm sorry. As i Said, it's so improbable I didn't think
anyone would mind. Has received good reviews elsewhere.

Best wishes Happy days

I have never seen that one in verse form before but I have always found it funny.

How did he ring the bell anyway?

I am sure you don't mean to offend Harry, but let's say I think it's 'misjudged, on more than one level.

Maybe he has amazing powers persuasion and got somebody else to do it for him.
