you don't actually have to cancel your subscription when the time comes

Make sure that Auto Renew is OFF

then just do nothing.


You will reduce to a free member, which means that you can continue to work on your tree (if is it on here), you can read postings on the Boards, and even maintain contact with your friends on here ............... either by them initiating a pm to you, or by you continuing to use a pm from your Inbox.

As i have said before divide your sub by 365 days and that is what it costs per day.

Don't do it Polly - I feel like you do sometimes and I haven't posted for ages (for various reasons), but I know I shall in the future. I agree with Rose - it will cost you to come back and, if you don't, you'll miss it! :-)

Polly you go to "account" at top of page , click on it and go to 'subscription details' on left menu, click and then make sure auto renew is off,

BUT don't go unless you are absolutely sure as though you will be a free member still, it will cost more to re-join, eg when I left and came back months later it cost me nearly double my original sub .

edit and PS, you know you'll miss it :-)
