I remember one of my friends twins
aged two and a half catching
eating a full goldfish out my pond
I was horrified I thought he was going to choke
We where trying to get it out of his throat
But second gulp he swallowed it :-( :-(

They should also explain - no nuts until 5 as many children get them travelling to their lungs. If the child breathes in as they eat small pieces get in their small lungs and are unable to expel the bits.

OH was a blood donor and when he was in the RAF the tannoy on the camp asked for donors of his blood group as a local hospital was in urgent need for ops. He went to the hospital and one of the ops was an 18 month child with a nut caught in the lung causing problems.

So sad.

I always cut grapes in half when the child was little because I'd read about this happening to other toddlers.

They should show this film at antenatal classes.

Poor child two years old choking on a grape
Pizza hut is still closed

But I am sure it was just a tragic accident :-( :-(
