Barb, I am stone-cold sober :-) at the moment.

You know how my OH stopped the pigeons from eating the crumbs we out out on his home-made bird table, he put a wire all around it leaving enough space for the little ones to get onto it but not enough space for the biggies to grab crumbs.

As for the hanging nutty things, I know not what :-S

Bye for now Fly. I am doing exactly the same as you tomorrow. A nice guy whom I've known for almost 65 years and who, when he came to Dad's funeral with his late wife, brought a personal present for my son. Lovely gesture I think.

There have been lots of little birds in the garden over the last few days, but when I put food out for them in their little hanging thingies the pesky pigeons steal it all :-0 :-0

The birds are eating at a helluva rate whenever R
puts stuff out for them, they must be feeling the
cold too and stocking up for winter :-D
