I always delete sent and received messages once I've read them

I just did that too - even though I have no 'New Message' notification - and found an unopened message from GR (my payment receipt from 2014!!)

Ha ha! After reading Von's post I went back through my old messages and there it was...an unopened message in April 2014. I opened it, it was a message that had appeared twice, and now the 'you have 1+ message' on the home page has gone.

it's a typical problem, and usually ignored. I used to do as TS says ............ ponly check when it says !+ new messages :-)

but you can check whether you have any old messages that you haven't read.

Go into Messages, Inbox

Look to the left .......box headed Search Messages

scroll down to All Messages

open that box and highlight Unread

Then click Search


That will (or should!! ) bring up any unread messages, even from years ago!

It usually means your In box is full


Try deleting some of your unused messages :-D

always happening - I've had messages from GR telling me I have unread messages when there are none

I actually had the same thing. 3 messages. I checked but no new messages.

Finally I went back through all the messages and found 3 messages that had come through more than a year earlier.

I constantly checked but it was only that I went back a long way that I found them.

Been like that for at least a year.
I do check occasionaly, but seldom find anything new.

Mines been like that for months. I contacted GR about it about April/May time but they never responded.

My concern was that someone had sent me a message that for some reason I couldn't see and that they thought that I was ignoring them.

Other members told me that they have the same problem so now I only look at my messages if it says +2 or more.

On my home page, when I logged on this morning, it was showing I have one new message, nothing strange in that except when I click into it there is nothing showing. Any ideas please
