Went with Lissy this morning to have Flu jabs me 1st then her and Dr chatting to her asked who drove (she asked me to drive ) and said I was a control freak wait til I see him again.
So this control freak has decided I am not doing anything else for them and we will see how much gets done ( they did admit when I said I was on strike nowt would get done) wonder which bill will get unpaid first or who will run out of stuff they need first.

Right im off to bed where I can do absolutely nothing all day.

Did you mean that Lissy told the Doc. that you were a control freak? ??. She should have been grateful that she got a lift yo the Doc' s

I know who he is Dawn. He's the psychologist who gave an optional lecture at one of the unis I did a course at, entitled 'Fluffy bunnies and all that'. He suckered all the animal lovers in only to tell them that they were control freaks.

They weren't half upset about it while the rest of just laughed when we heard :-D

We couldn't help ourselves.

He is an ok dr and was having a joke with her as knows how close me and Lissy are over her medical issues, he told her I was a control freak as I had driven (i dont drive often now but then cant be that bad as I let her and her dad share the driving down to sussex last weekend without a fuss I just went to sleep)) he was trying to lighten her up as she suffers with anxiety and things like going to drs doesnt help it . I need to go and see him about my meds soon so will return the joke and tell him I know what he said and in the meantime I shall carry on the no control strike at home lol.

You actually saw a doctor? I have more chance of an audience with the Pope than an appointment with mine. I rang yesterday to try for an appointment with the practice nurse to get my ears syringed (yes yes, I know, deaf old b****r). The soonest available is two weeks hence. Enough olive oil to fry an egg has gone down my lughole in the last couple of weeks to no avail.
