I was only thinking this morning that, when I first began to research my family, the 1881 census was due to come out the following year and the record office was busily raising funds to buy it. |

Both of my paternal grandparents were on the 1911 although I never knew my Grandfather, but I did know my Gran and 3 of my Great Aunts very well. The only difference the 1920 will make to me is my maternal grandmother will be on it the only 1 she will be on. B 1912 D 1929 |

Both my grandmothers and my grandfather and step-grandfather were on the 1911 census, actually, both the males were on the 1901 census :-( |

OH is not that interested in my researches, so unless it is something sensational I don't usually bother him - the great exception was when I showed him the 1911 census - "That's my grandfather's writing|" |

My maternal Grandparents are on the 1891 onwards but my paternal Grandmother doesn't appear until 1911 and my paternal Grandfather should make his first appearance in 1921. |

My paternal grandfather was in the 1881 census, and my paternal grandmother in the 1890 census. Both my maternal grandparents didn't appear until the 1911 one. |
