I posted on here a while ago, regarding my daughters insomnia. She has suffered for twenty plus years (she is now 40),sometimes going 3-4 days completely sleepless. It was making her feel and look awful, interfering with her life, although she always dragged herself to work. A couple of months ago we paid for her to have a course of hypnotherapy. Although she is not completely cured, it has helped immensely and she is sleeping better than she ever has. She phoned today, having just spent a couple of weeks in USA, and I don't think I have known her so happy and relaxed. Five hundred quid well spent I think.

Our daughter is suffering from arthritis in one of her knees. Plus too she has back problems from the injections she had when she was going through chemo for Hodkins

Her back is so painful that the chiropractor couldn't manipulate it so she has been having acupuncture . Now her leg is playing up big time she is having acupuncture on it too and it gives a couple of days relief before its starts up again

She went to her doc today because the pain is going down her leg and her doc said he is very open to alternative methods and knows acupuncture does work.

He has given her some painkillers and referred her on but said carry on with the acupunture

Glad it's working.

Had a friend who moved into different accommodation and had terrible nightmares every night. She kept waking up thinking someone was trying to get rid of her. She couldn't move as accommodation in the London area for RAF was limited.

She was exhausted at work. She went to a hypnotherapist and learnt to relax and go to sleep as she gradually lowered her arm when in bed. She had no more trouble and also used it during 2 pregnancies when uncomfortable in the last few weeks. :-D
