I was told the pneumonia jab is a one-off but those with certain conditions need to have another after five years. OH fell into that category, I'm afraid - but three years is a bit too close for my liking.

I haven't had my flu jab yet so I'll ask when and if I go for one. Never had last year's and can't remember why not but wan't I lucky because it proved to be useless against the flu strain that arrived.

Hi Ann.

Although OH has not been sick, he has had coughs, sneezes, sniffles and generally felt iffy, as you said. He had a flu jab and a pneumonia jab at the same time 11 days ago and his symptoms began shortly afterwards. I don't think he should have had another pneumonia jab so soon after the other one (three years).

However, a few of my friends have a stinking cold and sore throat so it could have been connected to a bug that seems to be going around here. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I hope you're soon on the mend and up and about again quickly. <3

afternoon all - not feeling too pukka today - started feeling iffy before yesterday's family funeral - woke up this morning and was violently sick - back to bed, sick again - fell asleep - now up again and feeling a tad better - is there some bug doing the rounds?
