Hi there Kenneth - best delete your email address ASAP - not allowed by this site

Unlikely that Sheena will see your message - use "Search" top right hand corner of this page to see if you can locate here

That's what it says...but unfortunately fails to point out WHY you shouldn't put personal info here, not everyone who is reasonably new to posting on here knows that everything they say can also be found via Google ( it has come as a shock to many) and this is not a secure site, in the sense that anyone can read the boarrds.

Putting your personal email address 'could' lead to lots of spam, or the odd ( very odd) person making contact that you don't actually want :-D

Quite so, Rose, but if you are prepared to risk it............?

I have a totally different Email Addy, just to collect the spam and begging letters.....and for the " Compare" type sites

Use the search all members trees - top right under Search - for mutual relatives.

If a Sheena is listed as a tree owner, send a message to resume contact. You can check at any time if your message has been accessed by looking at your 'sent message' box. If it hasn't, there will be an envelope icon next to it.

People have been known to lose interest and change their linked email address without updating their account. Let's hope Sheena's is still current.

It's fine if someone's prepared to risk it Bob as you say ...just so long as they're aware that's what they're doing :-)

probably useful to have a permanent 'genealogy only' email address that remains the same for ever and a day, as some on here have advised in the past.
:-)

That's true RRose. Mines an anonimous one with googlemail rather than tied to an Internet provider.
