Well I have no further to go than my key ring for the info. On it I have a silver ID disc which I wore from from 1939 to 1945 which details all that info.

I have already found something very strange.

I was looking through the Electoral Roll listings on FMP, and trekking through the various listings for names the same as my father. I found several entries in the listings shown as up to 1932 at the various places I knew he lived and worked, and then found a strange one.

I found my father, with my mother, at the address they had from 1937 when they married. It is Indexed as 1922, but has to be an item from the 1939, but wrongly indexed. They were both in a different county, and living apart until 1937.

Very odd!

According to their website FMP are launching the 1939 Register on
2 November....hope it is going to be useful.
