I thought I might make a pumpkin pie sometime soon so we have bought a small pumpkin.

Fred was very fond of pumpkin pie as you may remember.

A couple of people in the village have them out for sale, remember Fred telling me about California gunships? He was passing another stall in his wheelchair when he saw one he liked the look of for that pie I was going to have to make for him.He went in and paid for it but the woman had to deliver when she picked up her children from the school.

That pumpkin was enormous. I knew he was quite partial to a bit of pumpkin pie but that would have been a serious addiction AND not have left much room for sausage sandwich!
