Yup! You're his :-D

I admitted Summer was over last week, and put some Summer clothes in a rigid sided soft topped under bed storage thingy.
I left it on my bed, only to find George fast asleep on it.
I picked the whole thing up and put it on the floor in the spare room, where it's been his 'bed' ever since :-S

calling the cat, who is not 'our' cat but has adopted us, and wondering why he isn't coming...was he scared by the fireworks? Did he get the worst of the fight he was having with a black cat earlier? Where did he go after he was last seen ( about 6 hours ago) chasing said black cat down the lane and why, being as how he is not 'our' cat have I stopped work on clearing the contents of my bedroom, to stand at the door 'chittering' him as a friend calls it?

So...I give up 'chittering' and think I must clear my bed of all the stuff dumped on it now if I ever want to get to bed tonight, and suddenly...from the drawer in the bed base which I cleared out earlier and is open by about 4 inches... comes a face, "Shorty" had been there for hours, in the gap behind the drawer, oblivious to me alternately banging about and calling him ;-)

Cats! who'd have 'em! ;-)
