It's worse than that Joy.

The two small windows directly below these doors, have been fitted with , sloping canopies complete with red roof tiles.
They are only half as wide as the new french doors above

Theres no room between the top of the canopy and the bottom of the door for even a Juliet balcony ?
It looks so bizarre.

A bog standard, 3 bed ( ex) council semi just up the road from us.

2 upstairs, rear bedrooms have had the windows replaced with... FRENCH DOORS!
No balcony or safety railings of any form... just 2 sets of french doors on the upper floor, flush with the outside wall.

Not only are they extremely dangerous but, they look really stupid with door handles on the.. OUTSIDE!

Planning permission ? I doubt it!
