Funnily enough, I have had oxtail soup before but it's one thing I'd never make or buy for myself. Still, the thought of being able to visit grandparents would have sweetened the pill.

I went to my Nan for lunch when I was at high school, but she would give us oxtail soup sometimes which I detested.....I would tip it down the loo when she wasn't looking LOL.... :-D :-D :-D ;-)

I tell OH he's too set in his ways but he still won't join in :-D

I gave the young 'un a banana and Mars bar butty once and he wolfed it back. He's great, just like me :-D because he'll try anything :-D

Oh Fly. I liked my school dinners but often for one term a year we girls would decide to take our own. We had to have the proper gear though, ie a square red oxo cube tin - not a specially-made one but one that the shopkeepers got with the Oxo cubes.

Memories .....

Still do the huge variety of weird and wonderful butties to this day. OH doesn't like them though. :-D

OH likes those Mersey.

You know when your bananas are just turning brown, I like them fried with bacon. There was something in the DM about brown bananas too.
