It's come over really dark here. Don't like it at all. Wonder if Sunbeam has got wet and if he has whether he's noticed 'cos if he's had his curry and a pint he may be feeling warm all over. :-S

Missed out the word 'once' at our local church coffee morning and, Fly, 'soon' means one Saturday during the winter when the weather puts us off going out for the day.

You're right, though, I don't go coffeeing every Thursday.

Had a good day out shopping yesterday. Drove to the opposite end of town (a very small City we live in) and did a Tesco and Aldi shop and how much cheaper everything is there. Wish we had them this end of town and I did not have fuel costs to factor into total costs. May take some time and work out the overall cost of using Tesco including delivery charge.

Did you know I could add up ;-)

A walking morning for me (I need it). Met friends in Costa for coffee - not a regular place but this morning three of us tried one of its Christmas treats- a small chocolate and gingerbread tart and there was a minute chocolate gingerbread man in the middle of it. Lovely taste and texture so brought one home for the young 'un.

Only ever been to our church coffee morning as it's on a Saturday and hubby and I usually go out for the day on Saturdays. However, may pop up there soon as we are not always out during wintertime.

For anyone visiting South Shields, St Hilda's coffee and cakes etc are nice and everyone there is absolutely friendly. Been there when I was in South Shields with cousins.

Got back in the house a short while ago from a coffee morning with friends.

Did a small bagful of shopping and enjoyed walking today. Arrived home just in time as it's now pouring down.

By the way, I love the way GP has been 'christened' SUNBEAM. He's always out eating - can't cook or won't cook GP? I'm only jealous, Sunbeam, as I have to be in the mood for cooking to enjoy doing it. :-D :-D
