Barb Lumiere is a light show ;-)

Lumiere is a Festival of Light with displays around the city. I went the first time it was on a few years ago and the cathedral was lit up splendidly then. There are more and more displays it seems but I've never been back as the place is heaving and when it's dark it's too cold for me to walk around and see everything. I've not heard one person say they didn't like the displays though and some of them are spectacular.

Leave your teeth alone BarbSG.

I've always had good teeth, thank goodness, and I think it was a result of getting most of them knocked out when I was about 5 - went over the handlebars of me bike and I was at the dentists umpteen times for him to take bits and pieces out of me gums. Wasn't I a pretty girl then when I smiled :-S I quickly learned to smile with my mouth closed :-)

I did get some Xmas goodies which I have hidden at the back of me cupboards that's what knocked me grocery bill up :-0 :-0

I must get down to M&S before they sell out of me Xmas pudding ;-) ;-)

It is wonderful BarbSG, but it is always heaving with people. They've got a ticket system operating this year apparently but can't see how that would work.

Our daughter, SiL and grandson have been a couple of times but the first time the Market Place was so jam-packed with people they went into the fish shop on the corner and sat in, upstairs, eating and watching the crowds. They ventured up to the cathedral when it was quite late and less crowded then had a look around the street displays on the way home.

It's very sunny here but not warm.

Called into Iceland on the way home cos that's the only place around here that does battered fish fingers and I don't like breadcrumbs on things.

There's nothing like a battered fish finger butty - no good telling it off, you have to batter it :-S :-D

I remember when I was a little girl my dad, ( we were posh cuz he had a nice car) he would drive round Bristol City centre and adjacent roads at night to see all the decorations and Christmas trees. That is a wonderful memory <3

Nope, Fly :-D

Just full of the joys of spring :-D (see that pun there ;-) )

Going to get a coffee now before I go for the young 'un - as you'll guess, Fly, he and I usually have a good laugh together despite the huge age-gap. He has a great sense of humour, I wonder who he gets it from ? Daughter, methinks.

I've not got to feed him much tonight as he's going out where there's food to eat.

Betcha he comes out of school without his guitar AGAIN - I always have to remind him. <3
