Still awake.

:-(

It's difficult to get to sleep when there's a possum party going on in the tree outside the bedroom window.

Noisy little beggars.

:-(

Throw your slippers at them :-D

I can't see them (the possums)..... and I haven't seen my slippers for months (too warm)......... can I borrow yours?

Our block is on a steep slope, the tree is at the back of the house, about 3 stories high!

The possums aren't squealing much...... it's the noise of the tree rustling.

I'm going out there to turn a light on :-)

Ha!

Light on......... rustle rustle THUMP

I think a possum might have fallen out of the tree.

No problem, they do that all the time :-D without my help

They'll probably leave a few little presents for me, on the deck :-(

Well, been sleeping ok which is surprising

Last night tho I wasn't ready retire early which is what I have been doing around 9.30 onwards .

Sat up till 1.45, am and thought this is silly I need to go to bed so turned off the tv and went to bed

Turned on the TV in the bedroom and scanned around till thought this is silly too so turned it all off

Mind was going around and around on events and imagining conversations till I thought shit this is too much . Did eventually drop off till around 6.45,when the cat decided it was feed time and I ain't taking no and you need to get feed me !!

Need to remember the cat has his own inbuilt time clock ,no matter what , and brekkie is at the same time every day .

He won't take no it's not brekkie time !!!

I remember we once had a possum in the loft once but it only kept us awake one night.

It must have gone out to play and another animal caught it. We know it was caught because ..... poor, noisy, pattering little thing.

I went back to bed.......... possums were quiet...... then the ****** fruit bats turned up! Squeak Squeak. Horrible smelly, nasty things.

I think I got to sleep some time after 4am

Then at about 6.30............ a tremendous BANG........... a stupid bird smashed into the bedroom window!

I think I'll sleep well tonight. :-)
