Years ago used an Avon product on mozzies here
in Scotland which worked a treat, think it was skin
so soft but can't really remember.
There were two types of scents both worked. :-)

We use a thingy that clips onto a belt or pocket, switch it on and a little fan wafts a nice smelling repellent around. It's called OFF here.

It's fantastic and really works IF you are going to be sitting or remaining in more or less the same spot .................. but a bit difficult if you're continually moving.

OH did find it useful when he was gardening or painting up at the cabin where we had so many different species of mossies that there would be only an hour in the middle of the morning and another in the afternoon when there weren't any!

Uzzi looked it up and I was right, seems to
have become popular over the years.

I didn't find that Avon stuff worked for me .............. and scientific testings on it over here found it more or less ineffective for more than 50% of people :-(

Burning citronella candles works well on a patio or outdoor seating area

Sylvia Avon makeup, perfume etc brought me out
in a rash SS was the only thing that did work.
Swings and roundabouts.

Nowadays they don't bite, expect my skin to old and
dried up these days :-D

Hope you find something that works for you all.

some people exude more attractive "aromas" from their bodies than others

I'm very attractive to mossies, OH not quite so much ................ except up at the cabin!

We had a bad spell here in the city back in June, and I got bitten every time I went out. OH didn't get any bites.

One of the bites came back to "bite" me ............... the mossie had given me the bacterium that causes Erysipelas :-( :-P
