It did not put me off, LadyS. I found it amusing and, after I'd made sure that there was nothing macabre about it, my young grandson saw it and laughed too.

Can't believe you've had no other comments.

PS, poor fly; it could have been extra meat :-D

I thought it par for the course to have a few wasps, flies, mozzies in a BBQ???

The food amused me........... meat (very fatty steak?), potato, carrot & broccoli...... if I went out for dinner I wouldn't be happy being given something we eat at home!

It used to be, when you went out for a meal, you were spoiled for choice, these days we just "settle" for something.......... have menus got simpler, or have I become a better cook?

As for the fly.......... we bbq often in summer, and always switch on the insect light, which is on the other side of the deck. I hate flies.
