The water bill is not that high anyway and I really can't complain about the sewage bill either.

We are on a meter, it has drastically lowered our water bills.

We did however have a very nice man ring us up earlier in the week who was offering to knock One Thousand Pounds off our water bill.......... Each MONTH !!!!

We don't spend anything like that in a year., let alone have that to take off monthly.

The reduction of washing/tumble drying use has probably made the greatest impact. They are heavy users. All the same, its great to see a smaller bill!

If you don't have one already, it might be worth getting a water meter as well. The consumption would have surely have dropped. Less water = cheaper bills.

My electricity bill came yesterday and, now I have solar panels and no Fred constantly doing washing and, even less economically, tumble drying. on a daily basis, it looks like I might be spending £25 A WEEK less on electricity.
