Miserable damp drizzly day here but not cold :-)

Just got back in after the morning round the shops with our daughter while the men went swimming.

Lovely mint hot choc in BHS and an espresso brownie for snack. Durham BHS has a great site overlooking one of the bridges and the river. Also, an added interest while we had coffee, was a bride being photographed by the river for one of the nearby shops - lovely dress she had on.

If you're in M & S, try the ham and cheese toasted for lunch. Lovely :-)

Get as much info as you can from the oldies, say I. :-D

We have beautifully mild, dry weather here. It was great walking round in town and, surprisingly, it was quite empty. We thought that the roads closed for Lumiere probably have put people off. What a lovely morning, though.
