We once bought OH a Dyson Vac for his birthday. He loved it - all those buttons, switches and levers. ;-)

Never met a man who did not enjoy tools.

Used to laugh when I went into the DIY stores, the men with nothing else to do would spend ages looking at the items on the shelves. There seemed to be a fascination for them - strange :-S :-S
