Emma - It has just been on the local news that they are not sure if anyone was in the accommodation above the shop at the present moment. There is quite a lot of student accommodation in the area. |

Just arrived back from Newcastle city centre and there has been a huge fire in one of the shops and the flames were gushing through the roof but the fire brigade seem to have it under control now. The roads in the vicinity were cordoned off but the place where we normally lunch was ok even though the fire was only about 300 metres away. the shop was called the Kard Bar and was recently banned for selling "Legal Highs" - read between the lines. |
