I've enjoyed the accident calls.

I've done the OMG are they all right and ignoring what they are saying in my panic :-D

I've asked them which car it was as there are several to choose from ( only have one)

and I've asked which of the many drives had the accident (there is only the one).

I think I must be due for another call soon - might suggest they start saving money to pay the fines coming their way :-D :-D

I am getting peed of with Sky

We had telewest yonks ago before virgin media took it over .the account was in hubbies name had the full package with phone and broadband

Yonks ago we decided that sky offered more for the tele so I took out a subs to them and we have the hd box in my name

I rang them on the 9th Nov saying I want to cancel as can't afford to pay it now that hubby has passed away . No problem we will close the account on 9th Dec

Bloody people though they keep ringing me . I recognize the tel nos so ignore the ringing but a couple of times I have answered because the extension doesn't have caller display . Give em short shift when they ask to speak to .mrs T i tell em no and put the phone down

Why can't they be mindful of peoples circumstances .surely telling them that some one has suffered a bereavement would get some sort of sorry to bother you response, and to mark up the account with don't contact

Today I had a tvio box installed from virgin media so it's tv. Phone and broadband back again with the same provider

I have been known to ride a child's scooter in the local neighbourhood - hence my asking what sort of vehicle :-D

(That was going to be my 'admission' to a possible accident) :-D :-D :-D

I think I should try to remove the sarcasm from my voice when I get cold callers. Just had one (Out of Area - so no number to report) from an 'Accident Compensation' firm, about an accident I have had in the past 3 years.
Me: 'What sort of accident'?
Him: 'A vehicle accident'
Me: 'What sort of vehicle?'
Then he put the phone down before I could ask him to take me off the list, as I don't drive. This isn't the first time cold callers have had the nerve to hang up on me !!
:-P
