i lost my beautiful girl in July after fifteen and a half years and vowed i would not get another one, but lately the house has been so sad and empty that i am going to get another dog , not to replace her which i never could do but to bring some joy back into my life.

I thought at 70 i was too old to take on another puppy but i have dear friend who has promised me that if i am ill she will look after it and if i should die she will take care of it this has really made me happy.. just waiting for the right little girl to come along now.

i live alone with no family around me so she will be cherished. :-)

Even though we rehomed a two year old in June this year. I still miss our Mirabelle who we lost in July 2014

We had her from aged 7months till she was 17 plus and she was such a lovely cat . She loved both of us equally which was lovely . She would come on my lap for her cuddles in the morning and during the day would sit on hubbies lap for his cuddles

If I went out she would be with hubby til I got home ,I think she knew he needed her to look after him when mum wasn't at home

Our new boy that we got in June is more my boy as hubby was taken ill and hospitalised so by the time he came home Mr Tibbs was bonded to me

Strange though that after hubby passed he wanted to sleep on hubbies hospital bed till it was taken away

It's a strange world I think for animals and we really don't know how much they tune in to us

If your avatar is a picture of your 'beautiful 4 legged nightmare' - she looks quite a character. You must have so many wonderful memories of her. Treasure them and be grateful that you knew her and loved her.......she will always be in your heart. <3
