:-D

A couple of weeks ago my brother (who lives in South Australia) was moaning...... "Where's summer?" he asked "Today we're getting 21C, I wish it would warm up a bit".

Today's predicted temperature for Adelaide is 44C! :-0

Meanwhile, here in the sub-tropics, it's a lovely 27C.

Well, here in the South of England, we're still getting double figures. :-D
15 C today. I was just wearing a shirt (and jeans) under my mandatory raincoat when I went out today :-D
Damp, though, just DAMP - no sun :-(

I think I prefer cold frosty, SUNNY days...

My Mother's older sister came out to Oz for Christmas one year (from Scotland).

It was SO hot, over 40C for days.

My aunt was very proper, and insisted on dressing "properly".......... all-in-one corset & bra, stockings, shoes etc.

Mum told her she was mad, and took her shopping for a couple of very lightweight dresses & sandals :-D

After a couple of weeks of boiling, aunt said "I'm going to be really good for the rest of my life"

Mum was a bit puzzled, because her sister was always so nice............

Why?

"Because if I can't stand the heat in Australia, I'll really hate Hell!"

The weather in the South of England at the moment, reminds me a lot of the eternal Winters in Shetland :-( :-(
.....but the scenery was nicer in Shetland, and the weather 'fitted' it.
