A lovely, thoughtful pressie from your loved ones, Shirley.

I hadn't ever thought about combining ashes with one's husband, a precious idea.

I can't begin to imagine how you must be feeling.. sending big hugs to you, it must have been a very heartfelt Christmas for you and yours.

I am really chuffed with it . It's such a lovely thoughtfull pressie

Grandson took it badly when hubby passed away .so much so he didn't want to come to the funeral and then when told you need to support Nan he then didn't want to be in the family car behind the hearse

He has been a big support since and has been to ours to take out the old tele and surround sound that hubby was going to update before his last illnes ,and put in a new tele and sound system .

He is a long distance Lorry driver who is away all week on the continent so taking time off costs him

<3 he is a very caring man was a bit of a problem as a youngster but has settled down now with a loving wife and family

Our grandson and his wife didn't know what to get me for Xmas as it is the first since hubby passed

Grandson knows many people who do a variety of jobs so has many Mr Men contacts he can call on for repairs etc

He asked to look at our wedding pictures and scanned one in and put the image on a memory stick

He took it away and for my pressie he presented me with a wedding picture of us put onto canvas . We both look very young and so in love .it was taken in 1957

Wasn't sure where to hang it but have decided and its now on the wall at the top of the stairs so I can see it every time I go up the stairs and I can say goodnight to my
darling hubby

Tomorrow granddaughter and I will be collecting hubbies ashes from the funeral directors. He will be at home with me and when I go our ashes will be combined and we will be together forever <3
