Getting Older

As I get older, I realise…............

....................

I talk to myself, because sometimes I need expert advice.

Sometimes I roll my eyes out loud.

I don’t need anger management, I need people to stop p*ssing me off.

My people skills are just fine, it’s my tolerance of idiots that needs work.

The biggest lie I tell myself is “I don’t need to write that down, I’ll remember it”.

When I was a child I thought nap time was punishment; now it’s like a mini-vacation.

The day the world runs out of wine is just too terrible to think about.

Even duct tape can’t fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could put ourselves in the tumble dryer for ten minutes; come out wrinkle free & three sizes smaller?

“Getting Lucky” means walking into a room and remembering why I’m there!

Old age has given me a thick skin & I'm a bit deaf plus my mind wanders. My memory goes back to at least half past eight this morning.

My tired brain is on a permanent holiday but the rest of my body is still here.

I used to go into Care Homes and wonder why they all had
a notice saying "Today is ..........".

Now I wake up in the morning and wonder what day of the week it is.

I would put up a notice but how often would I get it right??

lol Robert

I've been like that since Christmas!

I think the only days I got right were Wednesdays & Saturdays, because that's when DH always plays golf!

He's about to leave the house..... for golf....... is today Wednesday or Saturday?

I'm the same age as my tongue. That well advertised anti-aging cream is a myth.

You are not old - I was 33 when you went to OZ.

I'm not OLD, but I'm getting older...... I don't like the alternative.

Age is a state of mind (and I sometimes wonder about the state of my mind).
