A jar of homemade truffles and a jar of home made 'Chinese Spices' from our youngest & her partner. They are on a v tight budget, and still managed to think of something 'different'.

I had another Christmas present yesterday. :-S

My OH gave me a bottle of my favourite perfume. He had bought it before Christmas but had hidden it so well he forgot about it. :-0

It was gratefully received though. :-D

We had a lovely present from our grandchildren which was a framed picture made with stones that they had collected on a recent holiday we had shared in Suffolk. :-D

I'm sticking with my meat probe Ann and Joonie..

Absolutely brilliant! Not sure why I didn't have one years ago. It made light work of cooking the stuffed turkey crown I bought after the day! No thinking involved! :-D

Difficult thinking which was the favourite as I had so many lovely ones. An interesting, iiffaattening one was from one grandson and his wife and Luke. It was a tower of treats, five varying sized matching boxes tied up with beatiful ribbon in a tower, each box contained fudge, toffees, biscuits and chocolates and the largest containes a Panetone. But a special one was a calendar that our granddaughter had had made from photos she has taken of trees and leaves, she is 13 and is getting to be a good photographer. All OH's presents to me were things I wanted, CDs etc, and a lovely little die cutting machine (a saphire by spellbinders), which I had wanted for a while but couldn't justify the cost for myself.

A Christmas text message from a dear friend ( almost blind and very disabled soldier) who i hadn't heard from for months.

it came Christmas lunch time right out of the blue am sure his carers helped him with it but i was in tears of happiness that he had thought of me...
