While settling down to listen to a political debate on Irish radio this morning, the list of programme guests was read out. Included in the discussion group was a familiar name & voice - my niece. :-D

Lovely Emma. My grandchildren are all still at school but I'll be picking the youngest up this afternoon (I call him the young 'un which is popular in this area).

Yesterday I had his cousin too (not my grandchild). It was easy for me as they entertained each other. :-D

We had visitors this morning and no doubt
we will get a visit from the grt grandies later :-D :-)

I'm doing the vegies for dinner tonight; got two more at the table. Shepherds' pie , one of the family's loved dinners. :-)

That's a shame Joy, it is a lovely place and
the garden centre over the bridge serves up some
lovely meals :-D

Emma, our forecast is for snow flurries during the weekend and into next week.

Watched the floods at Inverurie this morning on telly. Nephew still has a house there but it's on fairly high ground so it's safe, thank goodness.

It's a lovely little place but it's a little while since we visited and now, sadly, we have no reason to visit.

seems like quite a nice day so far - our first frost of the winter this morning

Exeter v. Liverpool - this evening on BBC1.

Apart from myself, anyone else on here wishing to witness an Exeter win? And don't bother to depress me with a reminder of Exeter's poor performance against lowly Warrington last year. :-)
