Gobbledegook only for anyone who has no knowledge of them. If you have one it can be opened with Notepad, or any other text reader. Be warned that they have more lines than you might expect. EG. a tree with 1,000 individuals may have roughly 6,000 - 9,000 lines. |

What does a Gedcom look like when downloaded. Is it a tree or just line after line of people's names. |
