Did anybody else see Bernie Clifton on The Voice last night? I was horrified when I saw him, thought it would be one of those cringe-making moments, but no.
Worth a look.

For 79 he had a good voice but left it a bit late to change from comic ostrich

Yes I saw it, what a good voice he has for 79 years old (I think that is what he said). I really don't like Paloma Faith as one of the judges. to me it seems that anyone with a really good singing voice doesn't stand a chance. like the lad who sunk from Les Mis.

I do think it's going to go downhill, which is very sad, as it's a good idea. it's too much about the judges now, I think.

I saw it Jan and I was quite moved by Bernie's performance.

Bought a tear to my eye actually.

Well I enjoyed the programme, loved the banter
and laughs.

Disappointed about the vicar and young man
not being taken on by anyone but suppose
those type of singers are really a big challenge
for them and not in their comfort zone.

The judges are seasoned professionals.
They're now on a different level.
Now they're looking to further the careers of others
As their manager.
So, their choice has to be commercial, or be capable of it.
