I get my RAC cover through the Tesco Clubcard scheme. :-D

We get breakdown cover free with the car insurance :-)
So far used for replacing a flat, damaged tyre, failed clutch (covered transport to clutch centre), recovery after hitting a deer (which ran away unharmed). Works like a charm but does not include running out of gas.

Do the AA/RAC still have the three strikes and you are out policy?

car breakdown/recovery up for renewal - (RAC). AA only a few pounds cheaper. Green Flag about £30 cheaper. Told RAC I was not happy with renewal quote in spite of their £7 discount.

Couple of minutes later I am given a new quote - £34 cheaper. Talk about squeezing the last penny from their customers. :-D
