We are just about to contact a painter as we need two rooms and the front porch painted.

I don't mind really Joy.....but I am tempted to pick up a roller or
a paintbrush but I have promised I won't lol :-D :-D ;-)

I was furious, Mers. If he hadn't driven on he would have felt the sharp edge of my tongue. It's not as if I had quickly stepped onto the crossing either; I was around half-way across.

I am now prepared to let loose on codger number three when (and if) something similar happens again. Don't know what's got into older men's heads at the moment.

I know s i law will tell Oz and she'll be angry enough for three people :-0

Search party? This morning I almost needed a rescue and save party Mers.

I was crossing the zebra crossing to meet friends in Costa and I was about half-way across when this car came across, missing me by about two feet! Luckily I was quick enough to stop dead in my tracks. I raised both arms and looked at the driver who never even slowed. Yes, he was another old codger (probably about my age :-D and with an elderly woman in the passenger seat. He simply stared at me!

The car behind him tooted and stopped - it was my son-in-law. He had seen what happened and said he thought I was going to get hit. :-S

Bl**dy old codger drivers - and me not being as svelte as I used to be, I don't know how he didn't see me. It's only about three or four months since a lady about 80-ish got knocked down on that crossing too.

Gawd, did I feel like kicking hell out of his car :-S :-S :-S

Afternoon Everyone.

I hope you all had a good morning.

Didn't get back on yesterday as we had a visitor during the afternoon then I did the school run followed by a trip to get the young 'un to where he needed to be.

I've been out since about 9 this morning, then just had a quick bite of lunch. It is bitterly cold here today. We've had a couple of sprinkles of rain that could turn easily to sleet. :-(
