Hi Sharon, If you put 'Primary Schools, Chester le Street' in Google, it will come up with all the schools in the area.
The nearest one to Albert Street is Roseberry Infant and Nursery School, which looks Victorian, so was there in 1969.

I have just read the story of the fire in the newspaper Sharon. what a very sad story, I am so sorry for your terrible loss. I hope that, with the help of people on here you are able to find closure so that you can get on with your life bringing up your children.

There are 7 trees on ancestry with Alan and June Stirman. Although not showing no more than this (no parents etc) maybe because of the tragedy.These people and one has the Westlake name maybe be able to help.xx
