One of the good things (for me) about being retired is not having to get up early these dark mornings. BUT this morning I had an appointment for a fasting blood test at 0840 :-( :-( I feel as if I have been up all day already. |

Hope the blood results are as good Mersey. they do a liver test which is mildly concerning!!!!I am sure the blood/alcohol content might be 50/50 some days :-D |

Ann its good to hear your BP was good. I had a review last Tuesday with the nurse. She called a doctor in who doublde my BP tablet Losartan from 50mg to 100mg. Never told me what my BP was but can imagine it was high. I had to go back yesterday to have a fasting blood test. Poor nurse could not get one drop of blood out of left arm so she then went for the right. Have bruises on both arms now and as you say that early in the morning makes it a long day lol |

Ann I always ask what my BP is, usually the nurse shows me the screen so I can compare with previous times. Fortunately I have never yet had a problem with veins and sh was very gentle but I still have a small bruise. |
