	Bit early in the day for ideas, Mers. :-0 Can't get me brain into gear yet :-S I knit, you know, not that I have done for quite some time. As well as my own needles, patterns and left-over wool, I inherited Mum's needles an patterns as I was the only one of my siblings who could knot. Now for a question to knitters. Have any of you knitted one of those collar things that slip over your head to cover the V in jackets and coats? Don't know any other way to describe it. It lies like a wide necklace over a jumper when you take off your coat. One of our group had a beautiful one on yesterday and said someone had knit it for her. It was obviously stretchy as it pulled over her head, it was a bit like shiny, thick cotton impregnated with shine and 'jewels'. Apparently you buy the kits from craft shops and use big needles to knit it. I was really taken with it as it saved the bulk of a scarf under your coat. I am going to look for the kit so I can knit one for myself. Have either of you made one?
