Silly question time. I have a Platinum account. Can I import a GEDCOM and work on that separately to my original account or will it just overwrite it.

it will overwrite it.

You can take out a free membership in GR, and start a tree on there.

You will have to have a different email account to start the Free membership .............

use one of the free sites such as gmail, yahoo, etc

Just a reminder ..........

a Free member cannot initiate pms to other members or post on the Boards.

They can however receive pms from paid members and then reply to them, and can read posts on the Boards.

The way round this is to use your paid membership to initiate conversations with other members, or to post on the Boards
