I've never even taken the bin out whilst still in my PJs but I see it often.

If I remember correctly, in their 24 hr stores,Tesco attempted to ban customers who were wearing Pjs and dressing gowns

Ann cardiff your post made me laugh.

I have a story that has always made me smile in our house. My son and his partner lived in a flat with communial garages just outside the flat.. My sons 17 yr old sister in law was visiting and she was asked to take something to son in the garage. Dressed in pjs , slippers she goes up the road to the local petrel station.shop, carrying the items for the garage outside, looks all around the shop for him then goes back to flat and says I cant find him in the garage. LOL

That's funny! Was she blonde?? ;-) :-D

We are terribly lazy now and takes hours before we get dressed if we have no morning appointments.
I'm quite happy opening the door, getting the milk in or retrieving the bins. OH hides if the bell rings! If I have to step off our property to say knock at a neighbours, then I have to be dressed.
Actually - tell a lie. The neighbours daughter phoned us as her mum hadn't picked up her's for 2 days. I shot round there while OH got dressed. As you can imagine, we were visuallizing her as being laying in a heap. It turns out she had a previously unknown fault on the line. Alls well that ends well ;-)

Brave enough? Shouldn't that be 'slobby enough'?
Most certainly not!

Without realising, I went to a hospital appointment in my slippers once - I hasten to add, they were passable as summer shoes albeit a bit scruffy and not fluffy check with pompoms. I was mortified! :-0

Because of my back problem, I cannot wear "slippers" or flip flops, I have to wear either brogue-type shoes or supportive sandals ................... so I have a couple of pairs of what would otherwise be outdoor shoes and sandals that are kept solely for indoors.

I do occasionally find myself dressed for outside and walking into the coffee shop wearing my house shoes :-0

Luckily no-one else knows that except me .......... and I know that I will have to clean to soles of the shoes when I get back home :-(

That's the thing Sylvia. I doubt anyone realised I was out in my slippers but I knew! :-0 :-D

Your Collie wears PJs Lavender?
About five years ago I made some disparaging remark about a really scruffy bloke, and my wife suggested that I look in the mirror. I threw out all my jeans and tatty footwear etc. and now won't set foot outside the house unless I am properly dressed. I even "bull" my shoes. Last night I was asked whether I am an undertaker.
