anyone on here with Yahoo email? One of our fellow members just informed me that she is getting emails from me which I haven't sent, plus getting them from Dizzi and other members

I thought something was up as I have had to sign in every time I want to access my mail and in the past few weeks have had to change my password, so if you're having similar problems it's probably happening to you too

Fortunately my mate Sue has fixed it for me

Ann, I've had emails 'from' people on here they all seem to be from Yahoo or Hotmail accounts.

Mine is OK but a couple of the family have had to reset passwords or change address, don't think it is yahoo as such, as Hotmail and other well known ones get targeted too.

Often a contact that is not very security aware gets their contact box hacked.

I guess they also do something similar to scam phone calls, stick a name in front of @yahoo and see who bites. :-P
