I have a potato peeler that is also a knife. It is a hollow handle and you slot the end you are not using into it. It came from Lakeland and I call it 'my knife which you may not use' because I use it all the time, in fact I think I am using my fifth one now. |

It's enough to put you off doing a good turn and I'm sure there is an unwritten law that says it will always be your favourite tool that gets lost or ruined. |
