lol

What made me think about getting one was the story about the woman making "bubbly" with white wine & a soda stream.

Since then I've done some serious :-D drinking :-D research :-D and found that I can buy small bottles (about 1+1/2 glasses) of a favourite bubbly........ 3 bottles for $13. Those 3 bottles will probably be my annual consumption of bubbly! I'll save the big bottles for when sis-in-law visits. :-D I'd get a better deal if I bought a box of 100 bottles, but I don't think I'll be on the earth long enough to drink them.

We had a soda stream years and years ago but we chucked it out.

Retro loving daughter wanted one so we bought another one for Christmas 2014.

Needless to say, it never gets used!

Actually..thats not quite true either.... she is a non drinker and made some fresh lemonade to take to a party at the weekend
She used the soda stream bottles to transport it !
Her party pals must think she's nuts!
Almost 24yrs old and has never had alcohol

Home made cakes in mason jars and raspberry lemonade for a party?... Aye Right!

The Good Guys are advertising them this week for $69.

I still don't need one.

If I cut down I still wouldn't be drinking very much!

Two or three "midi" glasses of beer on Fridays... maybe one on Sundays.

The last time I had a glass of bubbly was Christmas Day........ a glass and a half I think.......... and I think the bottle is still in the drinks fridge! That's not my area...... the drinks fridge is DH's responsibility... unless we have a load of food then I take over a couple of shelves!

Thanks, but no thanks, Scozz

I've decided to cut down on my alcohol consumption :-(

If I want a sparkling red wine I'll just dilute my normal stuff with soda water ;-)

:-D :-D :-D

If you're interested in getting a SodaStream.....

DealsDirect have them on special for $89, that includes 4 flavour thingies.

If you can't find them online, give me a nudge.

I've decided I don't need one. I can buy a few bottles of bubbly for $89... and I only drink 1 or 2 in a year (sharing with someone else, ofcourse :-D )
