I'm more of a morning type, Mersey - so I like to get things out of the way early-ish :-D

Most of my afternoons are lazy, come to think of it ;-)

Fine thanks, Mersey, though I've felt a bit tired and lazy this afternoon - must have been this morning's housework :-D :-D :-D

We certainly do, Ann - your skills with M&S ready meals are amazing :-D :-D ;-) ;-)

We're having Spanish omelette with red peppers and chorizo in it, with ratatouille left over from Sunday - all home made :-P :-D ;-)

Off to sort myself out for the school run. :-D

Back later.

Yes, and I take after my Mam :-D :-D ;-)

J uses Barclays bank in town a lot, as he's the village hall treasurer, and is forever having to pay cash in. We use the ATM's and the building society for ourselves. I don't think internet banking can totally take the place of a branch. I don't think I could cope with it myself, let alone those without computers. :-( :-)

Lyn, I still have the little palm machine from Barclays when I used online banking (always said online instead of Internet banking, funny isn't it). My personal account with another bank, I've only ever used passwords and such, no little machine.

Now, since I retired, 99% of the time I use telephone banking but if I'm near the bank I will pop in and do it then - I always see someone I know. :-D

Ann, I'm annoyed for you. :-|

**Ann** Report 5 Feb 2016 14:54

I take after me mum Gin :-D :-D :-D

Gin I use the Internet banking as well, but there are loads in this town that will sorely miss their local bank....I mean what about all shop keepers who deposit cash etc. There will be a lot of angry people in this town when the news gets out...there was enough uproar when they closed the three in September.

Lloyds bank here is in a lovely old building and was here when I came to live in the town in 1962 :-0 :-0 :-0

Right, got our population count. 65,500 in 2010 in the city, so more now.

Rough count of our banks, eight banks and four building societies as far as I can remember - all open all day.

Ann, you have been done down. :-(

LynGinN Report 5 Feb 2016 14:50

Ann - how do you get away with all this snacking on cakes and things? There's nothing on you, you lucky thing! :-| :-D ;-) ;-) <3

LynGinN

LynGinN Report 5 Feb 2016 14:48

Hya Joy :-D :-D <3 <3

We do nearly everything by internet banking - thought that's the "royal we", 'cos I leave all the financial stuff to J - he's much better at that sort of thing. I'm much better at spending it :-D :-D ;-) ;-)

**Ann** Report 5 Feb 2016 14:48
