Just tried to pay three bills by phone as I usually do so that way. first one, bank card went through by my using the telephone keypad just fine.

The second I did not have it set up. Spoke to someone whose English was good but very obviously not his first language. He had difficulty, getting confused with one similarly-named account and another with the old card number. Politely, I said I'd go to the branch and he was fine, actually agreed with me.

Left the third bill to pay in the branch too.

Will let you know how I get on because it's all change in our local branch.

When I worked I used online banking but decided to stop about seven or eight years ago when there was trouble afoot online. :-0

We still have a good selection of banks but I haven't counted them all. :-0

Afternoon all :-D :-D :-D :-D <3 <3 <3 <3

Gosh, I feel tired today for some reason :-S - but I made myself do some housework this morning ;-)

J often has toasted fruit loaf for brekkies - I do sometimes, but I like crumpets with jam the best - brought to me in bed, of course :-D ;-)

Ann - that is terrible that your town soon won't have any banks :-0 - my nearest town, population 7, 900, has 3 banks and a building society!

An old work colleague reckons that she is now following Jesus on Twitter. She is no longer physically able to attend church.

Just had a zapped butter chicken from M & S, got 3 for £10 this am. K had a chicken tikka masala zapped. We both said that they tasted very nice indeed. Have you tried them? :-)

Will buy more as I have to go back to pick up the waterproof jacket I ordered.
